Naute Kristall Cellar & Distillery

On the way to the Fish River Canyon, situated on the C12 just 40 km from Keetmanshoop in the Karas Region, you will find a small family-run distillery next date plantations and vineyards, a little oasis in an otherwise dry area of southern Namibia.

Run by Michael and Kathrin Weder, this little distillery produces internationally acclaimed fine, handcrafted spirits, ranging from their award-winning Devil’s Claw NamGin, to their “Nappa” ( a Namibian Grappa), Namglint and Date Liqueur.

Michael Weder’s true passion lies in the creation of fine spirits from the fruit varieties cultivated on the farm, like the wine grapes, date, pomegranate and prickly pear.
