Leon Engelbrecht Design is a small, Proudly Namibian Design Studio that creates artisan, handcrafted and hand sewn leather goods, creates unique Namibian inspired patterns that are printed on textiles, and provides professional Interior Design Services for private and corporate clients. My creative journey started over 4 year ago when I jumped the Corporate Ship, and forged a fresh, new and creative path in life.

It is a privilege to employ and train Namibian individuals who I want to empower, upskill, and assist in creating the best versions of themselves they can possibly be.

All leather items are individually handcrafted and sewn by hand using traditional hand tools and methods.

Our focus is to create items and products that last, that is not mass produced. We are proudly part of the ‘maker’s movement’ worldwide that reintroduces you to the maker – so you know where, how and by whose hands your products get made.

This stunning and uniquely Namibian pattern is printed on luxurious 100% Mulberry Silk. It also features a hand-rolled and hand-stitched hem. Multiple uses, only limited by your imagination. Hair, neck, wrist, bag accessory. It comes in a beautifully packaged box and would make ideal corporate gifts as well.

Care Instructions: Dry clean only! Made from 100% Mulberry Silk. Use a Steamer to remove creases, or a steam iron with a towel or layer of fabric on top.

Stainless Steel Jewellery:

High quality, hypoallergenic 18 K Gold plated, or plain Stainless-steel jewellery with an exotic leather inlay, proudly made in Namibia.

MoneyClip Wallet V2.0:

Our wallets are made from the best quality vegetable tanned found worldwide and is certified ‘chemical free’ and eco-friendly. This means no use of chemicals was involved in the tanning process – making this range some of the most sustainable leather choices you can make. Each item is individually handcrafted, hand-sewn using the age-old ‘saddle stitched’ method – certifying out products for life.

This money clip wallet V2.0 features 4 slots, but could easily take up to 3 cards per slot. And includes a spring-activated clip to hold your cash in place.

Compact Wallet – Axel Edition: 

Our AXEL range of products is all made from some of the best vegetable-tanned leather in the world. Each item is individually handcrafted, hand-sewn and hand-finished using our finest hand tools and also features the unique zig-zag stitch.

This wallet features nice big card slots to store 2 cards per slot easily. Has one deep cash slot for your folded cash. Also features a ‘quick access’ slot on the outside for your most used card.
