KENSWA Adventures is a hiking company owned and operated by 2 lifelong friends Jan & Johnny . Who have been exploring and hiking the Kunene region for over 20 years and have sat around multiple camp fires in the wild, talking about how special and majestic hiking the Kunene Region is and how we need to share this amazing place with all adventure seekers. We saw that most people who visit the area are just driving by all the beauty of the wilderness without ever really experiencing the true Arid Eden.

We offer personalised guided hiking tours everywhere in Namibia specialising in the Kunene Region. We take care of all transport, accommodation, supplies and logistics. We strive to provide an unmatched rugged outdoor experience for true adventure seekers. Our knowledge and experience of the Kunene region means we know many hidden gems and we are eager to share this with everyone.

Our Signature Product is the KENSWA Extreme Kunene Hike: A 9 day 150km guided hike from Ruacana to the majestic Epupa Falls. This is a product designed for experienced hikers. We average around 17km per day so an above average level of fitness is required to complete this hike. Our hiking pace is relaxed (a fun hike should not be a death march). We start early and try to finish around midday with plenty of time for swimming, exploring and enjoying the beautiful environment.

Dates for 2025 Due to the extreme heat reached during midday even in winter (40°C+ in the sun) we feel May to September are the best months to enjoy the Kunene.
