A warm welcome to the green oasis boutique guesthouse “Alte Villa”.
We acquired this charming Villa, which was built during the colonial period, in 2017. The Villa has lovingly been renovated and carefully restored to its previous beauty.
Each room has been individually decorated and has its own particular charm. Guests are welcomed at the Villa with warm apple pie and a good cup of coffee. A continental – Namibian breakfast is served in our dining area between 07h30 to 09h00. Coffee and and a wide variety of tea is available throughout the day at the Coffee/Tea station. Free Wifi is available in all the rooms.

Alte Loge is also offering exclusive kayak tours to 2 destinations: If the weather permits , we take you out to Halifax Island , where the African Jack-ass Penguin can be observed from the water side. It is believed that Halifax Island is the most northern point on the the African Coast, where this penguin breeds. En route it is possible to see the African Oyster catchers and Heaviside’s Dolphins.
Our second option is to paddle through the 1st and 2nd Lagoon where the Luderitz Oysters industry can be observed from close up, and birds like the Flamingo or African Oystercatcher can be seen.
