The Swakopmund based hotel was established in 1968 by the Rapmund Family. As from 2008 the new owners Sonja and Enjo Mueller have been operating Hotel Pension Rapmund on a family oriented basis.

Our reception is open until 19.30 where helpful staff will assist you wherever possible to ensure that your stay with us will be a memorable one.
We offer 16 comfortable and cozy en-suite double rooms. All rooms have twin beds (two single beds), a balcony and a private, clean bathroom with toilet and shower. The rooms have a small communal kitchen with a coffee bar and refrigerator in the hallway.Of these 16 rooms, 12 are standard rooms. Five of these rooms are on the second floor and have ocean view from the balcony. We also offer 4 ocean view rooms that face the Atlantic Ocean. Small heaters for colder days in Swakopmund are available in all rooms.

Our luxury gallery room offers comfortable accommodation for two with a private sun terrace and cozy twin beds. The large room offers plenty of space to relax and enjoy Swakopmund. En-suite bathrooms and other amenities are of course available.The gallery room has been recently renovated and luxuriously furnished. It has direct ocean view from a private wooden deck with sun loungers and a beautiful garden. There is a coffee bar and refrigerator in the room. For cooler winter nights we have a small heater in the room. Wi-Fi is also available.

For travelling families we provide 4 family rooms. Two of these are standard apartments without a sea view. The other two rooms are luxury family apartments overlooking the Atlantic. En-suite bathrooms are available in all rooms. The standard family apartments have 2 double rooms, each with 2 private bathrooms (shower and toilet), their own fridge and a small coffee kitchen. There are no cooking facilities here.

There are two luxury family flats on the first floor with a direct view of the Atlantic ocean. The apartments each have a bedroom and a living room where the children can be accommodated with an extra bed and a “sleeper-couch”. There is an en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet. One of the luxury family flats has a fully equipped kitchen, the other has a kitchenette with a coffee machine, refrigerator and microwave.
