Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF) is a non-profit organization focused on the conservation of cheetahs. Our International Research and Education Centre headquartered in Otjiwarongo, Namibia, is open to the public 364 days per year (closed on Christmas Day, Dec. 25).
Visit our one-of-a-kind campus where you can see orphaned resident cheetahs at our rehabilitation and long-term care facilities. “Meet” our cheetah ambassadors, hearing about their lives and care from an expert cheetah keeper during our daily cheetah feedings and cheetah-run activities.(Pre-Booking required). We welcome kids and are wheelchair-friendly.
See Conservation in Action at CCF
Experience CCF’s commitment to saving cheetahs in the wild, whether you’re here for a day visit or choosing to stay overnight in our range of accommodations, from family-friendly to luxury options. Tour our Centre to explore a range of facilities, from the Cheetah Museum to the Model Farm and the Dancing Goat Creamery. Witness first-hand how dogs are raised to guard livestock, a key strategy in reducing cheetah predation and thereby addressing a primary threat to their survival: human-wildlife conflict.
At our Cheetah Cafe, you can savor unique goat milk products, exemplifying our efforts to assist local farmers in enhancing their farm profitability. Don’t forget to pick up a handmade souvenir from our Gift Shop, supporting both cheetah conservation and local livelihood development.
Situated with a view of the scenic Waterberg Plateau, our Centre also offers abundant photography and wildlife sighting opportunities.
CCF’s Vision
To see a world in which cheetahs live and flourish in coexistence with people within a sustainable system that is protective of the environment, socially responsible, and economically viable.
