Picture yourself on a white sandy beach, framed by palm trees, overlooking the Popa Falls at sundown – this is White Sands!

White Sands Lodge & Camping is the only Lodge situated within the Bwabwata National Park directly at the Popa Falls which is one of the main attractions in the area. Popa Falls day visitors are also welcome to enjoy the various viewing points. A local SAN guide will lead you along our paved walkways and will be open to any questions regarding Fauna, Flora, Tradition, and Culture. The tour ends at our Kipi George Deck where you can enjoy a drink or small meal. We offer Boat Cruises on the Okavango River and have 400 different bird species in the region which makes this a birder’s paradise. With a bit of luck, you will see Hippos and crocodiles as well. Tiger Fishing (catch and release) is also very popular in our region.

The Lodge comprises 5 fully equipped Chalets, each boasting river views, private decks, air conditioning, and Barbeque facilities. Alongside these, we offer 6 Luxury Camp Sites featuring private Kitchens and Ablutions. A luxurious swimming pool adds to our amenities. Recently, a second boat was added to our existing fleet. Moreover, White Sands houses a restaurant and convenience shop catering for all basic needs, including Wood and Ice.
